Strategic agreement on cooperation in protection of cars against thefts was signed on these days by the Czech company Defend Group and Brody Engineering from Israel. Defend Group therefore obtained exclusive rights for distribution of devices with technologies of Brody Engineering in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Defend Group therefore expects business achievements connected with growth of sales. The agreement in the same time guarantees joint action of the companies during development of current and mainly new security devices.
The first success of this cooperation is the electromechanical protection of the trunk and of the hood Defend Hook. „Defend Hook is the first security device, in which we have used technology of the Israeli company Brody Engineering. It is a top quality, efficient and so far little used technology, which in several months made our Defend Hook number one in security of the hood in the Czech Republic and Slovakia,“ commented this fact Pavel Vojtek, the General Manager of DEFEND GROUP.
Considering raising value of parts in the engine compartment switch from mechanics to electromechanics appears as very correct. Defend, as well as its competitors, has nowadays in its portfolio also an older type, mechanical security of the hood, however these systems are characterized by more complicated installation and not so comfortable system of control. Defend Hook on the other hand meets not only requirements of demanding customers, but it also provides better protection than older mechanical security.
In near future Defend Group anticipates specific ways of further cooperation with Brody Engineering at implementation of good ideas, resulting in the hypothetical cream of the crop – maximum security of vehicles and consequently also maximum satisfaction of our clients. The prospering Israeli company Brody Engineering manufactures electromechanical security devices, a.o. electronic locks „Lotzi“ or interactive anti-sleep devices for drivers „Alertone“. The company also announced preparation works for manufacturing of personal alarms.
