18.5.2004The New DEFEND Brand Was Introduced

On May 18, 2004, we presented to journalists at our headquarters the new DEFEND brand, which from today covers all of our products and presents our company to the public. The familiar Defend Lock brand used up to now isn’t disappearing, but is only being moved to the level of product brands and will be used to designate only mechanical automobile security methods. The reason for this change is the expansion of our portfolio of products by the Defend Locator, which means expansion of our offering of mechanical auto security systems by a satellite system, including anti-theft security components.
The attractive subject matter enticed almost 40 journalists to the conference, for whom an exemplary presentation of the new system’s functionality had been prepared. A demonstration panel had been prepared, on which journalists could try for themselves what Defend Locator can do. Besides this, it also garnered praise as a work of art, as the painter Frantisek Letak, whose paintings have already been exhibited in our offices several times, took part in its preparation.
