For Defend Group company is the help to the affected people no novelty. A longstanding partnership in charity project „Cars without barriers” has become the tradition already and in cooperation with Konto BARIERY foundation the company Defend Group is providing cars for the handicapped with the security device Defend Lock.
Defend has helped the citizens of Hlohovec municipality this time, who were affected by the floods. Under the patronage of Mr. JUDr. Pavel Kašník, who is the 1st deputy mayor, the charitable golf tournament took place in Mladá Boleslav on June the 14th 2010.
The charitable golf tournament was organized by 3 main partners: Škofin, Česka pojišťovna and Defend. The minimal fee for all participants was 1 000 Kč. The overall yield from that tournament will be moved to the chosen municipality Hlohovec as a help by damage control after the flood. This municipality is placed in the heart of Lednice-Valtice district and is well known for its excellent wine, cycling and picturesque scenes with dominant Border manor house.
