DEFEND

Defend Hook locks the hood from inside of the car. Security mechanisms of the engine hood are located from inside of the car body and any attack from outside is disabled. You can control Defend Hook by either the independent chip control, or by the gearshift lock Defend Lock. Control of the lock is therefore ensured by locking of the gearshift lock Defend Lock, which allows control of both the security devices at once, or by the independent chip key, similarly as in case of the product Defend Cargo.
Defend Hook consists of the blocking part and the control unit, which are located inside the car body and therefore they cannot be attacked from outside. Installation is fully independent on other security devices and it does not require any interference with the car body. Defend Hook however is connectible with other products Defend.
Defend Hook protects against professional thieves of expensive car parts, as the control unit, xenon headlights, car battery etc. The used electronic chip with the reading unit provides high security of system control and unauthorized production of the chip duplicate is impossible. Information of the locking status of the hood is provided by the light diode on the reading unit in the driver's area.
