Engine blocking - new function in Defend Hook product
19. 3. 2008 - In the beginning of 2008 the company Defend Group brings another new product. It introduces to the market innovation of already well-known and well-tried product Defend Hook. This electromechanical device went through its natural technical development to the higher security level. The system is nowadays equipped with a new independent function “ENGINE BLOCKING”. This is how Defend Hook helps to protect not only the car hood, but your car as a whole, which becomes more resistant and safer face to face professional thieves.

Defend Hook is a unique electromechanical security device not only for the hood, where it protects against theft expensive and demanded car parts located under the hood. Defend Hood locks the hood from inside the car. Security mechanisms of the engine hood are located from inside the car body and their attacking from outside is disabled. Installation is fully independent on other security devices and it doesn’t request any interference with the car body. Defend Hook is connectable with other products Defend. In the same time it protects the car itself by disabling access to the control unit, car battery and protection car parts, as alarm or emergency car battery. In addition Defend Hook is now newly equipped with a new, independent function of the engine blocking.
