European expansion of Defend with the new director
Defend Group, the front Czech producer and distributor of equipment for a complex security and car defence, currently expands its European representation by brach offices in Romania and Bulgaria. Mr. Milan Vašíček, MBA in the newly created function of executive director for the Defend Group. Mr. Vašíček was encharged to lead the whole group from the 1st of July 2008.
„In order to ensure integrated and high quality functioning of all our representatives, we have unavoidably created a new level of operating in the group. This was made due to the constantly developing activities within the current network of the Defend groups in Europe and Asia, such as in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Russia, Thaiwan and China, as well as in other 10 European fellow firms. However, the main reason was overall new expansion of Defend," was stated by Mr. Pavel Vojtek, the head manager of Defend Group. „After the demanding selection procedure, we have chosen Mr. Milan Vašíček for this position. He is a man with a long standing experience in marketing, trade and in the operation of large corporate corporations. We believe it was a right choice!“ Pavel Vojtek has added.
Milan Vašíček has gained a lot of managerial experience in a number of large corporations before coming to the Defend Group. Among of many others, he has worked as a director of a division of Océ corporation, director of trade and maketing in Dell Computers, head manager of the company Dan and Bradstreet, regional manager of SSA corporation and head of commercial representation in Intel. New position is experienced by Milan Vašíček as a great opportunity to create from Defend Group a top coroporation for the motor car security in the market not only in Czech Republic, but throughout whole Europe. „ I am honoured to be able to work for such a progressive and prosperous company such as Defend Group. I would like to contribute to the establishment of the DEFEND trade mark in the international markets, by using my experience and knowledge in many areas. Our aim is to build up the prestigious European brand.“ stated Milan Vašíček.
Milan Vašíček (47) has graduated from Czech Higher Technological education in Prague in 1993 as well as The U.S. Business School in Prague, where he acquired the MBA title. He fluently speaks three languages, English, Geman and Russian. His hobbies are golf, cycling and literature.
