Based on longtime co-operation the Swiss company KABA has decided to establish Defend Group as an exclusive agency for Automotive Security from January 2009.
"The brand Defend Lock represents for us a synonym of a successfully operating company in the field of car protection, especially in the territory of Central and Eastern Europe, and we believe that integration of two strong brands and their prosperous products will bring long term expected marketing and commercial achievements," said Erika Helferstorfer, the Business manager for CEE of the company KABA.
KABA is a Swiss company focusing on manufacturing of top-class lock systems. Globally it belongs amongst 3 biggest companies in this area. Lock cylinders KABA are known all over the world due to its high security and resistance against all known methods of intrusion. The brand KABA is globally a brand of security and trust of customers and KABA built such reputation also within so demanding markets as in Eastern European countries.
The company Defend Group nowadays uses its own lock cylinders Defend. Resulting from demand in particular markets it decided to enlarge assortment of provided lock cylinders by products KABA, specifically after a long-term selection. "It was a very demanding for us to select one strategic partner," said Pavel Vojtek, the General Manager of Defend Group, and he added: "We did selection among such brands as ABLOY, MUL-T-LOCK and others."
Shared products of Defend Lock with the KABA euro lock has appeared in selected markets of Central and Eastern Europe, however their introduction to other markets is only a question of time.
